So I decided to go shopping after ages as I needed jeans perfect comfortable good quality jeans. And after reading kareena kapoors latest book on fashion (A diary of a Bollywood diva) available to purchase on iPhone iBooks or amazon. She definitely gives a lot of detail on how to find the perfect jeans which ones to go for etc. yet the ones she mentions obviously sky high price so obviously for the average working girl not good. She does mention Levi's jeans now these are a classic staple to have yet I found I didn't like their fit. I have been addicted to hollister jeans since I discovered them back in my uni days so around 2009. Their fit was perfect, comfortable, stretchy and didn't fade in washes & size didn't shrink. Win win! Yet when I went into hollister recently I found their jeans had been made at a rather low rise so just above your lower modesty line & that's defo not a good look. Also found them extremely unbreathably tight fitting & not comfortable which was very strange as I own like 6 pairs. So I thought maybe their manufacturer has changed or simply just this time unlucky me!
I took a browse around so popped into new look tried on their jeans totally a big fat NO for me being a size 23inch waist is not fun no where sticks your size it was so frustrating. New look did yet they didn't fit the size 4 was to tight and size 6 to baggy. Annoying!
Next up was topshop now they had some amazing jeans in the petite section size 4 and 6 perfect fit yet I found they made my legs look rather skinny like a lot slimmer then they are...so not the look I was going for.
So instead I popped into river island and usually river island jeans & trousers are so not to size they always run so big like I found in the past their size 6 was a size 8. But this time I was so lucky I found 3 pairs of jeans that fit so well oh my god yes fitted, comfortable, stretchy & not to low waisted. Love love love. I think these were high waisted it didn't state it yet I think they defo are as they come above my belly button. They were £40 each so I picked up 2 pairs. And had to resist the 3rd pair for next pay day.
